In first round qualifying on Friday, the team placed 26th with a speed of 154.422. The team decided to stand on their time for second round qualifying and remained in 26th for the starting position in the race.

Something was obviously wrong with the SKITTLES® Pontiac as Derrike dropped to the back of the pack at the beginning of the race, and stayed pretty much in the rear of the field throughout the race.
