Golfing

On Monday September 23, Derrike Cope participated in a Pro-Am Celebrity golf tournament. Senior Larry McGee was Derrike's partner and they ended up winning the tournament. "We played real well and had a good time. We got some nice crystal glassware for it, and it was a real fun deal."

Also participating in the tournament was Ted Musgrave, Bobby Hillin Jr., Hut Stricklin, and Jimmy Spencer.

On Thursday Derrike also played in a celebrity golf tournament held by Ned Jarrett in Jefferson, NC. "I had a couple full days of golf this week. All in all it was a pretty enjoyable week.", said Derrike.
