Derrike will be driving the #74 Dodge at Martinsville.
In the first practice, Derrike
was 45th fastest with a time of 20.035 and speed of 94.515.
In Qualifying, Derrike produced his fastest lap of 20.277
with speed of 93.387. At the end of the round this put the #74 Dodge in 49th
position which wasn't fast enough to make the race.

Derrike said, "This has been a
difficult weekend for a number of reasons. The first being that our crew
chief and friend Wiz (Dominick Turse) lost his father yesterday and went
home last night. We certainly missed him today at the track, but our
thoughts and prayers are with him! We really did not perform well today at
all. The setup we started with did not work well and we began to make
changes but could never really find what I was looking for. The car would
not turn just as it did in Richmond. I probably made a few wrong choices
when it came to the spring combinations as well. We also had some problems
getting through tech prior to qualifying and had to make some changes that
hurt us as well. Overall I just am disappointed with today's effort! All we
can do is try and put it behind us and get ready for Atlanta and hope we can
be better prepared next week. I am looking forward to Atlanta where I will
be driving the number 40 truck for Key Motorsports again."
