Derrike will be driving the #74 car in Bristol. He said, "We will be attempting to qualify at Bristol this weekend. The team has really worked hard to finish a car that was purchased from Penske racing. It is a more updated car from last year. So we are hopeful that we can have a good performance tomorrow in qualifying. I have had good success at Bristol and am really looking forward to tomorrow."

Qualifying was rained out so the field was set on owner's points. Since the team hadn't made a race this year the team did not make the race.

Derrike updated us and said, "The weather washed out qualifying today so we are not going to race this weekend. I feel bad for all the crew, because they worked so many extra hours to get this My Guardian/Sundance Vacations Dodge ready for Bristol, but this is out of our control, so we will have to wait until next weekend at Martinsville, VA. "
