Derrike teamed with Arnold Motorsports and drove the #50 Dodge for the beginning of the Nextel Cup season.

For the Michigan June race, Derrike drove Hermie Sadler's #02 car. Later he took rides with WW Motorsports in the #94 Racer's Edge Dodge and #98 Chevy owned by Chris Edwards and Larry Gunselman. Derrike attempted to qualify the #80 Ford for Hover Motorsports in a couple races.
