Derrike will be driving the #98 Ford owned by Chris Edwards and Larry Gunselman in Saturday night's race. Mach One Inc. was the sponsor.

In the first practice, Derrike was 43rd fastest with a time of 21.668 and speed of 124.608.

In Qualifying, Derrike produced a lap of 21.722 and speed of 124.298. This was not fast enough for the top 38 so the team took a provisional and Derrike will be starting in 42nd position.

In Happy Hour, Derrike was 42nd fastest with a time of 22.070 and speed of 122.338.

Derrike started the race in 42nd position and finished in 42nd.

Earlier today we spoke with Derrike regarding last weekend’s Cup race at Richmond. "With our Cup car we were pretty good off of the truck. In practice the car really drove to my liking. Prior to qualifying we made a decision to take some gear out. Looking back that was a mistake as the car then lacked power coming off of the corners. We were hoping for a better race showing, but ignition problems put us out."
