Derrike will be driving in Rockingham with PHM on the car.

In the first practice, Derrike was 44th fastest with a time of 24.436 and speed of 149.828.

In qualifying, Derrike produced a lap of 24.263 and speed of 150.896. The time was not fast enough for the top 36 so the team took a provisional and Derrike will start the race in 43rd position.

In Happy Hour, Derrike was 43rd fastest with a time of 25.447 and speed of 143.876.

Derrike started the race in 43rd position and also finished in 43rd position after having a broken axle.

Looking back to last week's performance at Rockingham, Derrike indicated, "We were disappointed with our poor qualifying effort. We had a good run in Happy Hour with our car being better as our tires had some wear on them. In the race itself, we had the car handling well, particularly on old tires. We were running competitive times and moving up in the field. We picked up a vibration and shortly thereafter blew a left rear tire and spun out. In that incident we damaged our exhaust pipes and headers. That damage significantly affected our performance, so we took the car to the garage."
