Derrike is entered in this Sunday’s race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Friendly's paint job will be used.

In the rain-delayed first practice, Derrike produced a high time of 32.670 and speed of 165.289 among the 45 drivers.

Derrike went out 12th and the first lap was a time of 32.894 and speed of 164.16. He picked it up on the second lap with a time of 32.613 and speed of 165.58. This was the slowest time so far.

Fortunately Derrike was able to make the race by taking a provisional and will be starting in 43rd position.

In the second practice, Derrike was 41st fastest with a time of 33.494 and speed of 161.223. In Happy Hour, he was 42nd fastest with a time of 33.437 and speed of 161.498.

Derrike started the race in 43rd position and finished in 29th position.
