Derrike will be driving the Quest Motor Racing OzzFest 2002 #37 Ford at the upcoming race at Dover. He announced that sponsors Sound Moves and Friendly's Ice Cream will remain on the car for the race.

Derrike took the track as the 30th car of 46 cars to attempt to qualify. On the first lap he had a time of 24.008 and speed of 149.95. The car picked up the speed on the second lap and produced a time of 23.898 and speed of 150.640. This put the car in 28th position at the time. At the end of the round the OzzFest 2002 Ford was left in 41st position. Unfortunately that was not fast enough to make the race on speed.
