Derrike will be driving the Quest Motor Racing #37 Ford at the upcoming Coca-Cola Racing Family 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. He is pleased to announce his affiliation with Sound Moves as the team sponsor for the 600. Sound Moves is a world leader in cargo logistic services for live entertainment and allied industries. Sound Moves specializes in global freight orchestration worldwide utilizing their network of offices including locations in: New York, Los Angles, Miami, London, Mexico City, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney. Since Sound Moves is affiliated with the entertainment  industry, OzzFest 2002 will be on the hood of the #37 car. Friendly's Ice Cream will be an associate sponsor.

In the first practice, Derrike was 36th fastest with a time of 29.704 and speed of 181.793. Kevin Lepage was 25th fastest with a time of 29.611 and speed of 182.365.

In qualifying, Derrike went out and produced a lap of 30.191 and speed of 178.855. Kevin Lepage went out and had a lap of 29.361 and speed of 183.917. At the end of the round, Kevin made the race in 22nd position. Unfortunately Derrike's time was not fast enough as it put him 46th position so the #37 Ford will miss the show.
