| LAS VEGAS--March 5,
2000-- Everything-Commerce.com, Inc. today announced it has formed a new
partnership with Fenley Moore Motorsports, specifically to sponsor driver
Derrike Cope in car number 15.
``We have created a new e-commerce model and are in the process of rolling it out,'' said Patrick Kelly, Chairman and Founder of Everything-Commerce.com, and creator of the Kelly e-Commerce model. ``NASCAR racing is the perfect opportunity for us to gain positive exposure.'' ``The team at Everything-Commerce.com is just as passionate about our business as Fenley Moore Motorsports and Derrike Cope are about racing,'' said Jaime Rupert, president and CEO of Everything-Commerce.com. ``This sponsorship marks the beginning of our marketing efforts and as such is a milestone.'' The deal calls for Everything-Commerce.com to sponsor Derrike Cope in the Las Vegas Cars Direct.com 400 race and the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 500 race in Atlanta to be held on March 12. Additionally, Derrike Cope will be paid a bonus of $25,000 if he finishes in the top 15. ``We are pleased that we have successfully completed negotiating a deal with Everything-Commerce.com,'' said Robert Fenley, president and CEO of Fenley Moore Motorsports. ``We want to bring appropriate recognition to our new sponsor by putting Derrike Cope in the best car we can possibly provide.'' With roots as deep as the first NASCAR race, Fenley Moore Motorsports brings knowledge and experience to the track that can only be equaled by a few select teams. Since 1948 Bud Moore has continued a winning streak that makes him the fifth most successful owner in NASCAR history. In August 1999, Robert and Sue Fenley along with brother Randy Fenley purchased Bud Moore Engineering and retained many of Bud's original team members. Derrike Cope began his racing career in 1980 and was the NASCAR Late Model Sportsman Rookie of the Year. His first NASCAR Winston Cup start was in November 1982 and he was the NASCAR Winston West Rookie of the Year in 1984. He joined the circuit full-time in 1986. Cope won the 1990 Daytona 500. That victory came in only his 71st career Winston Cup start. He followed that up with another victory later that year at Dover, Delaware. In May 1994, in only his third Busch Grand National start, Cope brought home a win at Loudon, New Hampshire. Cope is a leading contributor of his personal time to a variety of charitable endeavors during the course of each season.
