Not really an award, but the website was mentioned in the March 2000 issue of Racing Milestones magazine. Quotes were: "Most drivers have official homepages, and you don't have to be a computer whiz to find them...Derrike Cope's address is www.derrikecope.com. Some of the official pages aren't operated by companies, but by friends. Jeff Cope isn't related to Derrike Cope, but he runs both the driver's fan club and his official Internet site." (Webmaster's note: they obviously missed that there are four officers that run the fan club)

This web site will keep you updated with everything going on in Derrike Cope's racing career, including hisnew sponsorship deal with Sara Lee. Updates are available on races that Cope competes in on both the Winston Cup and Busch Grand National circuits. The picture gallery encompasses Cope's entire career.

The chat room is always open, but Tuesday at 8 p.m. is the designated time for Cope fans to talk about their favorite driver. Cope even visits the chat room from time to time.

This official site is worthy of a look from any NASCAR fan. The site is very well laid out, and contains a lot of good information.

You can find out what Derrike has been up to, hear a personal greeting to his fans, order merchandise, join his fan club and more.

You can even download photos of Derrike and his cars. Or if you've always wanted to ask a NASCAR driver a question, here's your chance! Submit a question to Derrike, and he may answer it on the website!
