| The Derrike Cope Fan Club held their
first meeting in May 1998 at Charlotte, NC. It was a lot of fun for everybody that
attended and plans immediately started for future meetings.
First meeting - May 21, 1998 Fifth Meeting - September 24, 2004The 2004 Derrike Cope Fan Club meeting was held on Friday evening September 24 in Dover, Delaware. Derrike hosted a dinner meeting at the Sheraton Dover Hotel and a total of 31 people attended. Among the attendees were Derrike's twin nieces Amber and Angela Cope along with Busch team owner Jay Robinson and some of his team. The meeting was fun and informative, and all the fan club members won at least two, if not three, various types of Derrike Cope merchandise.
Fourth Meeting - October 5, 2001The fourth fan club meeting was held on Friday, October 5, 2001 in Concord, North Carolina, at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. The meeting went great, the food was excellent, Derrike and Renee were delightful, every attendee walked away with a Derrike Cope souvenir, Derrike gave us all a personal tour of the Quest Motor Racing race shop, and all had a great time. Third Meeting - July 15, 2000In the year 2000, the fan club held its meeting in Everett, Washington. Derrike met with those who could attend on Saturday, July 15th. A trip to Evergreen Speedway the following day allowed us to watch Angela Cope and the #30 State Fair Super Stock Car finish a respectable 10th in an afternoon race that contained a number of mishaps.
Second Meeting - Oct. 8, 1999The second Derrike Cope Fan Club meeting took place on Oct. 8th, 1999 in Charlotte, NC. Here are various items related to the meeting.
