2000 Fan Club Meeting

The morning after the meeting, a number of fans met at Evergreen Speedway, which is a few miles north and east of Everett.  Derrike's 16 year-old nieces, Amber and Angela Cope, (twins) were attempting to qualify for a race that was to be held later that day.  We found out that it was Angela's turn behind the wheel. (Audio of Derrike discussing Amber and Angela during the meeting.) A few of us had access to the pits and were able to get the pictures below.

Angela placed the #30 State Fair car on the starting grid.

Derrick owns 2Quik, a shock absorber company, so guess which brand of shock he is preparing for the #30
