I am a big NASCAR fan, am deaf, and I attended a few races where Derrike Cope did well. I have not met him, but would love to meet him someday. I have noticed that he is a friendly driver and I do not consider himself only as a driver, but as a good person outside the race track. At Martinsville, after the completion of the race, I saw him driving his van or truck from the track. I tried to get his attention but I failed. That will not make me dislike him but he is a nice person, in my perspective.

I'd like to meet him sometime and chat with him.
