Pete and Liz Rosendahl

My husband Pete and I are one of Derrike's biggest fans. We met him in Delaware in 1990 and got to go to dinner with him (I got to sit next to him). We went to Dover Downs and he gave us a tour of the pits and his trailer. Actually I was the one who took the longest time getting down from the top of the trailer because I am afraid of heights and didn't realize how high it was.

We have been relocated to North Carolina so we get to see a lot more races and we are real proud of Derrike. We joined his fan club (that he had before it turned into this website) and have always bought his cars and other things. We have a room set up in our house that displays all his cars with his signature, pictures, etc.

We saw him in person again at Martinsville this year where the pictures here were taken. We wish him the best of luck this year and forever.
