Pat Quinn

I am a Derrike Cope fan from the late 80's. I have had the pleasure to meet him several times in person and he is the nicest and easiest driver to talk to. I used to send him a card every week in the mail and when I would see him he would say, "The Pat from Oregon." He always made my trip to the events memorable.

I have to travel some distance to get to races so I haven't been able to attend any races in the last two years, which I miss greatly, because I don't get to meet with Derrike. In my bedroom my husband has to sleep with a wall filled with pictures of Derrike that he signed and others. I have about every kind of poster, die cast cars, banners, and everything else that has been put on the market.

I know he is a great driver and hopefully he is with a team that can showcase his talents. He is the greatest!!

I also am so proud that he cares so much for children. They are the future of our sport and our nation. This country needs more people like Derrike!!
