| We first started
watching Derrike when he won the Daytona 500 in 1990 and then the Dover Race
in our state also in 1990. We were really impressed with how he handled
himself both on and off the track.
Our first Certificate of Membership was for the 1991 Season signed by Derrike and Kay Durham, President. We first got to meet him when he was guest of honor at the Lancaster County Green Flag Racing Club Banquet held Jan. 9th, 1993 at the Day's Inn in Lancaster, Pa. Since then we have collected most all of his memorabilia including stand-ups, ring, watch, shoes, and much more. Needless to say, to us, he is the "Greatest" and always will be.
