| I've been a NASCAR fan for over 30
years and an avid Derrike Cope fan since 1995 when I first met Derrike. At that time, he
was driving the #12 Ford which had Healthsouth as an associate sponsor. My wife Cheryl is
the CEO at the Healthsouth Rehab Hospital in York, PA. She got us pit and garage passes to
both Pocono and Dover that year (wish she still could).
I was reminded of what a "Class Act" Derrike is at the time trials at Pocono this July. While some other drivers turned and walked away to avoid fans, Derrike walked over to a large group of fans and honored all requests for pictures and autographs. |

We met Derrike at Pocono in July 1995. We were immediately impressed by his
gracious manner and his willingness to talk with us. Pictured are Derrike and me in front
of his hauler at Dover Downs in September 1997.
