The Race

Derrike started the race in 17th position and finished the race in 40th position. Fan club member Greg Mabe was at the race. He stated that "he was involved in the accident in turn 2 on lap 3. Buckshot tried to stop to avoid the wreck and Derrike hit him in the rear. From where I was sitting, the damage didn't look that bad. Later I saw Derrike pitting under green. He never came out. I heard Kyle and Benny on my scanner during a commercial break say that Derrike had lost an engine."  Thanks Greg!
