In first round qualifying, Derrike posted a time of 49.285 and speed of 182.611. This was good enough at the time for 31st. At the end of the first round, the #92 Kraft had fallen to 46th out of 56 drivers. In second round qualifying with a very strong wind, Derrike was only able to produce a time of 49.458 and speed of 181.973. This was only good enough for 43rd so the Kraft Singles Chevrolet will miss the first Busch race because the new team does not have any provisionals. |
