Derrike will be driving the #73 Dodge in Bristol with Charter on the hood.

In the only practice, Derrike was 36th fastest with a time of 16.121 and speed of 119.025.

In Qualifying, Derrike's fastest lap was 16.154 with a speed of 118.782. At the end of the round the #73 Dodge was in 22nd position for the team's best starting position of the year.

Derrike started the race in 22nd position and finished in 39th position.

Derrike said this about the race, "Bristol went very well for us although we were not in a position financially to race very long. The car was very productive. We were good right off the truck, a little tight, but Rick was able to find what I was looking for and we were pretty quick on used tires. We never did a mock run for qualifying and when it came time we were again a bit conservative with the changing weather conditions, and thus tightened the car up a bit too much and qualified 22nd. In my opinion we were capable of a top 15 if we were in a position to be more aggressive."
