Derrike will be bringing three cars to Kansas City. He will be driving the #73 Dodge while Kevin Lepage will be driving the #78 Dodge.

In addition, according to Jennifer Jo Cobb's press release, she will be driving the #79 CapFed.com Dodge with primary sponsor Capitol Federal Savings for team owner Derrike Cope, Inc with Rick Markle Racing. Associate sponsors for the #79 include Big Bob’s Outlet, a national flooring and furniture outlet with Kansas City origins, AutoPartsCenter.net, Holtze Executive Suites and The Gardner Family Foundation. “Big Bob’s Outlet is excited to partner with Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing, Kansas City’s hometown race team,” said Big Bob. “We are looking forward to promoting this relationship on a local level while gaining national exposure for all of our franchises through this NASCAR race at the Kansas Speedway.”

In the first practice, Derrike was 29th fastest with a time of 32.982 and speed of 163.726. Kevin was 38th fastest with a time of 33.244 and speed of 162.435. Jennifer was 49th fastest with a time of 34.109 and speed of 158.316.

In the second and last practice, Derrike was 39th fastest with a time of 32.787 and speed of 164.699. Kevin was 24th fastest with a time of 32.447 and speed of 166.425. Jennifer was 45th fastest with a time of 33.149 and speed of 162.901.

In Qualifying, Derrike had his fastest lap of 32.472 with speed of 166.297. This was only fast enough for 47th position so he missed the show. Kevin produced his fastest lap of 32.020 and speed of 168.645 which left him in 28th position at the end of qualifying. Jennifer had her fastest lap of 32.579 with speed of 165.751 leaving her in 48th position at the end of qualifying so she missed the race.

Kevin Lepage started the race in 28th position and finished in 40th position.
