Pre-Race

Derrike will be driving the #52 Chevrolet for Jimmy Means in Bristol.

In the first practice, Derrike was 39th fastest with a time of 16.465 with speed of 116.538.

Once again, Qualifying was rained out so the positions were set on owner's points. This put Derrike and the #52 Chevrolet in 37th position.

Official Report

Derrike gave us an update after the race. He said, "Bristol was a wet affair! There was no practice and no qualifying at Bristol. We started by points. We did have one practice session where we found the setup very tight and the car would not turn. We ran as few laps as we could because we were going to start the race on the tires that we practiced on. We started the race on 26 lap tires and were not very productive. We were not going to run long so we just stayed out of trouble and parked the car shortly after the NASCAR caution to check tires."
