Derrike will be driving the #52 Chevrolet for Jimmy Means in Las Vegas.

In the first practice, Derrike was 38th fastest with a time of 32.202 and speed of 167.691. In the second practice, he was 40th fastest with a time of 32.276 and speed of 167.307.

Derrike did a qualifying lap of 31.525 with a speed of 171.293. At the end of the round this put the #52 Chevrolet in 37th position where Derrike will start the race.

Derrike started the race in 37th position and finished in 32nd position.

After the race, Derrike said, "I am pleased with our effort this weekend. Our practice started out a bit slowly on Friday, but by the end of the second practice I felt like we had gotten our hands around the car a bit and I felt like when we put tires on the car for qualifying we would be okay. Today in qualifying I made a pretty conservative lap and ended up 37th. I really felt that a quicker lap was attainable, but I did not need to make a mistake which others did trying to get more out of their cars. In the race, an early wreck happened and when I went to slow down to avoid some cars ahead of me, our car had too much rear brake in it,  and it locked up the rear brakes, I spun, and we flattened our tires. We were able to get the tires changed, but this set was loose and we had to tighten the car up on the next few stops and finally ran pretty well and stayed on the lead lap after getting the lucky dog once. It was nice to get to run some laps. I really enjoyed getting to drive this week. The crew did a good job and overall it was a nice weekend. Jimmy Means finally decided to park the car to save the equipment for Atlanta next week. I will update you next week."
