Derrike will be driving in the Busch race this weekend. Derrike told us, "I will be driving the number 49 Busch car this weekend for Jay Robinson Racing. It will again be a start and park after we run some laps to evaluate the chassis set up combinations we will be trying. This is the same car that Robert Richardson drove at Gateway. We will try and learn some tendencies of this car which is different than the other cars in the stable. Hopefully we will learn some things that will benefit the team in the future."

In the first practice, Derrike was 37th fastest with a time of 23.777 with speed of 103.865. In the second practice, he was also 37th fastest with a time of 23.535 and speed of 104.933.

In qualifying, Derrike's fastest lap was 23.529 and speed of 104.960. At the end of the round he was 37th fastest where he started the race.

Derrike started the race in 37th position and finished in 41st position.
