Derrike will be driving the #49 Advil Liqui-Gels Taurus in Darlington.

In the first practice, Derrike was 36th fastest with a time of 31.095 and speed of 158.148.

In Qualifying, Derrike produced a time of 30.432 and speed of 161.593. At the end of the round the #49 Taurus was sitting in 32nd position where Derrike will be starting the race.

In Happy Hour, Derrike was 28th fastest with a time of 30.945 and speed of 158.914.

Derrike started the race in 42nd (was supposed to be 32nd) position and finished in 35th position after leaving early.

Derrike commented on the race. "As you know by now we had a great weekend in Darlington. It started out a little poorly with the Busch Series car...the Advil Liquid Gel's Ford. We lost a head gasket in only three laps, plus we were in race trim so we had to guess on the setup for qualifying and we were very loose. We managed a 32nd starting spot and was on the lead lap running approx 28th at the time of the engine sticking a lifter and breaking a rocker arm which ended our day."
