Derrike will be at the wheel of the #39 for Jay Robinson Racing with Friendly's as the sponsor. Tammy Jo Kirk will be behind the wheel of Derrike's usual #49 car.

Qualifying was cancelled because of rain so the field was set by NASCAR rules. This put Derrike in 28th position because he will be in the #39 car. The #49 car was put in 20th position.

In the first practice, Derrike was 32nd fastest with a time of 30.799 and speed of 123.666.

In Happy Hour, he was 28th fastest with a time of 30.528 and speed of 124.764.

Derrike started the race in 28th position and finished in 35th position.
