Derrike will be at the wheel of the #49 for Jay Robinson Racing.

In the first practice, Derrike was 27th fastest of 46 cars with a time of 52.394 and speed of 182.769.

Derrike took the track as the 5th car and produced a lap with time of of 52.969 and speed of 180.785. This was not fast enough for the top 36 but the team took a provisional so Derrike will be starting in 39th position.

In Happy Hour, Derrike was 14th fastest with a time of 50.316 and speed of 190.317.

Derrike started the race in 39th position and finished in 14th position, 1 lap down.

Derrike commented after the race, "My running this race was a last minute deal. We ran a different car than we had run at Daytona. We were fortunate to miss the big wreck at Talladega and finished a solid fourteenth."
