Copperfield/NuHouse.
In qualifying, Derrike took the track as the 8th of 43 cars and produced a lap with time of 31.434 and speed of 152.657. This was not fast enough for the top 36 and the team had to take a provisional. They will be starting the race in 38th position.
In Happy Hour, Derrike was 39th
fastest with a time of 32.147 and speed of 149.272.

Derrike was to start the race in
the 38th position. The announcers told us before the race that he had to
go to the rear of the field because of an unapproved engine change.
